Sydney Estate (estate.sydney) is produced by the Arrivau team. This page explains in plain language what information we collect, why, and who sees it.
The Short Version
You can read every article on Sydney Estate without giving us any personal details. If you choose to use the chat assistant or leave your contact details, we collect what you provide and, when you ask for follow-up, pass it to our partner licensed home loan broker, Arrivau, so they can contact you. Chat conversations are saved so we can provide and improve the service.
What We Collect
- Contact details you choose to provide: your name and your email, phone number or WeChat ID, entered voluntarily in a form or in chat.
- Loan and property information: details you share about your borrowing or purchase plans, such as budget, deposit, property type, location, income range or timing.
- Chat conversations: the messages you send to the site assistant and the replies you receive.
- Website visit statistics: aggregate, cookie-free statistics such as pages viewed and visitor country, plus the server log data described below.
We do not ask for account numbers, tax file numbers or passport details. Please do not include them in a chat message.
How We Use It
- To reply to your enquiry and provide the chat service
- To pass your contact details and the information you shared to Arrivau, our partner licensed home loan broker, so they can follow up with you when you have asked to be contacted
- To review chat conversations and improve the site, the assistant and our guides
- To keep the site secure and understand which guides are useful
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Sydney Estate itself is not a mortgage broker or lender and does not provide credit assistance; any credit assistance is provided by Arrivau.
Who We Share It With
- Arrivau (licensed home loan broker), only for follow-up on enquiries where you have left your contact details
- Service providers that host and run the site and chat service, such as Cloudflare, under their own privacy terms
Server Logs
This site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare automatically records technical data for security and performance: access time, IP address (for DDoS protection), browser type, and pages visited. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.
Analytics
We may use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookie-free tool that records aggregate data such as page views and visitor country. We do not use Google Analytics or any cookie-based advertising or retargeting service.
Cookies
This site does not set any advertising or tracking cookies. Preferences such as dark mode are stored in your browser’s localStorage and are not sent to any server.
Third-Party Links
Our articles link to NSW government websites, Domain, REA Group, CoreLogic, the RBA, and other external sources. These sites have their own privacy policies. Any sponsored content (clearly labelled) links to third parties such as BizCover, whose own privacy policies apply when you visit their sites.
Your Rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information you have given us (including chat conversations and contact details) by emailing the address below. If you have already been referred to Arrivau, we will let them know of your request. For any privacy concerns, contact us at the email below.

We may update this policy as our site evolves. The “last updated” date at the top reflects any revisions.
